The unique German roadster, which is a vibrant art car and with all its appearance reminds mankind of the preservation of nature, was painted by Czech artist Milan Kunc a year ago. All this time, the car was on display at the Prague brand showroom and BMW Museum in Munich. Now, there was a collector who bought from the BMW i8 Roadster 4 Elements.
The proceeds from the sale of an extraordinary machine, which is 2.1 million Czech crowns, will be transferred to the ecological organization The Ocean Cleanup. Such investments are not accidental – the institution’s specialists are working on a method for removing plastic from the ocean.
The roadster itself is a kind of panoramic picture, with different thematic components on each side of the body. Generally speaking, it is water, fire, air and earth. In particular, for example, plants and butterflies are depicted on the hood, which symbolize the energy transformation, the wind generator on the starboard side represents the transition to clean energy. Fish and crustaceans on the left hint at human responsibility for the survival of the species. Feed, however, recalls that the Earth is part of the universe.
