The British company Lister Motor shared with the public a teaser image of a new electric hypercar called Storm. The car will compete with products from brands such as McLaren, Lotus, Koenigsegg and Pagani.
The first reports of Lister’s plans for hypercar development date back to 2014. At that time, it was expected that the novelty will receive a V12 gasoline engine or a hybrid power unit with a return of about 1 thousand horsepower. The maximum speed of the hypercar should be more than 400 kilometers per hour.
Lister Storm will cost about 2 million pounds. Every year, the British intend to produce six copies of the car. It is reported that the car will go on sale in two versions.
Recall that in the 90s of the last century, Lister already released a model called Storm. It was created on the basis of the Jaguar XJR-9 racing car and was equipped with a 7.0-liter V12 gasoline engine generating 554 horsepower and 790 Newton meters of torque. The car can accelerate from zero to 100 kilometers per hour in 4.1 seconds, and its top speed is 335 kilometers per hour.
